Responsibilities

  • Design or modify components used in the production of electric vehicle charging stations.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders across various disciplines.
  • Actively participate in design reviews to minimize design risks and ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation (2D and 3D) for the designed components.
  • Integrate design documentation into the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Provide support to other designers and technical staff in their work.
  • Actively supervise the manufacturing and testing processes of the designed components.
  • Effectively communicate project status and potential issues to stakeholders.

Professional experience required

  • Possess a technical or higher technical degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of CAD software, such as Onshape, SolidWorks, Catia V5, or other relevant software.
  • Have a strong understanding of dimensioning and tolerance analysis principles, including their application in mechanical design.
  • Possess a general knowledge of mechanics and machine design principles, including statics, dynamics, strength of materials, and machine elements.


Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Notion, Slack
  • Familiarity with Google Suite
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Engineering experience, e.g. as a designer
  • Experience in working with electronic components
  • Experience working with steel structures, aluminium profiles, and sheet metal components

Other requirements

    • Ability to work in a team;
    • Very good knowledge of technical English, enabling work in an international team;
    • Ease in establishing contacts;
    • Strong motivation, determination, and ability to manage time effectively.
