Responsibilities
- 3D design of mechanical parts of the charger.
- Preparation of the technical documentation and implementation of BOM for the production process.
- Assessment of necessary design changes or other solutions needed to improve quality and reduce cost.
- Liaise between cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams.
- Sourcing materials and off the shelf products for ongoing projects.
- Support of other technical employees.
- Quality control of manufactured and finished products.
- Active supervision over the construction of the machines.
- Active support of project managers.
Professional experience required
- Technical or higher technical education (mechanical engineering, mechatronics or related);
- 3 years of experience in a similar position (e.g. constructor, mechanical designer/engineer);
- Strong to expert level 3D CAD skills (eg Onshape, SolidWorks, Catia V5);
- Experience in the design of mechanical parts, sheets and plastics;
- Knowledge of the principles of dimensioning and tolerance analysis (GD&T)
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and tracking project tasks.
Other requirements
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good knowledge of technical English enabling work in an international team
- Strong motivation, determination, ability to organize working time
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the Onshape CAD software;
- Knowledge of Slack, Notion;
- Creating and customising workspaces to organise projects, tasks, and documents.
- Setting up databases, kanban boards and timelines in Notion.
- Professional experience in the production of details and steel structures;
- Knowledge related to the design of devices for the electrotechnical industry;
- Professional experience with heat transfer analysis;
- Knowledge of FEA;
- Knowledge of Google Suite;
- SEP qualifications up to 1kV;
